Kefta is an enterprise marketing software and services provider. We help our clients interact in novel ways with their customers so that our clients can understand and serve them better. This Privacy Statement explains our practices with respect to information we collect and process on behalf of our clients.
We collect and process, on behalf of our clients, Personal Data that has been collected by or on behalf of those clients. "Personal Data" means information relating to an identified or identifiable person and linked to that person's contact information. Each client determines the purposes for which Personal Data are collected, recorded, stored, disclosed, organized, or otherwise processed by us. We only process Personal Data pursuant to the instructions of the applicable Client. Kefta may use the services of third party contractors or service providers to process Personal Data.
Kefta does not review, comment upon, or monitor its clients' compliance with their respective privacy policies, nor does Kefta review client instructions to determine whether they are in compliance or conflict with the terms of a client's published privacy policy. Please direct any questions, comments, or complaints about the data practices of a Kefta client for whom Kefta processes data to that client, and not to Kefta.
We collect and process Personal Data that has been voluntarily submitted to us. In addition, we may collect information indirectly and automatically (through, for example, the use of "cookies" or your "IP address") about your activities on the site operated by us. We tag our cookies in accordance with the W3C's P3P recommendations, which you may read with any P3P-enabled browser such as Internet Explorer 6. We use this browsing information, in non-personally identifiable form, for internal purposes such as to help understand how the site is being used and to improve it, and for systems administration purposes.
Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your hard drive, not on the site(s) we operate. Cookies allow us to better understand how the sites are used, which in turn helps us focus our resources on improvements to the sites. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to a computer when it is used on a network like the Internet. In some cases the computer's IP address stays the same from browser session to browser session; but for computers connecting to the Internet via consumer Internet access providers, the IP address generally varies from session to session.
We may use unique identifiers in email messages, which enable us to determine which emails have generated responses. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and to exclude those persons who have already responded to a certain message from duplicate messages.
We always provide an opportunity for recipients to "opt-out" of receiving future emails on behalf of the applicable client.
Kefta uses industry-standard security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of Personal Data it processes on behalf of clients, including, in appropriate circumstances, the use of firewalls, restricted access, and encrypted transmissions. Kefta limits access to Personal Data to those persons in Kefta's organization who have a business need to process such Personal Data. However, no company, including Kefta, can fully eliminate the security risks associated with Personal Data.
Due to factors beyond Kefta's control, Kefta cannot ensure that Personal Data will not be disclosed to third parties. For example, Kefta may become legally obligated to disclose such data, or, despite precautions, third parties may circumvent security measures to intercept or access such data.
If another company acquires Kefta or substantially all of its assets, that company will (a) possess the Personal Data held by Kefta, and (b) assume the rights and obligations regarding such Personal Data described in this Privacy Statement.
Questions, comments, or complaints about this Privacy Statement or Kefta's data practices (other than those practices designated by a client, questions about which must be directed to the applicable client) may be emailed to privacy@Kefta.com or mailed to One Kearny Street, Suite 900, San Francisco CA 94108.
